Pets:
Lacie – a middle-aged spayed female Boxer mix that we rescued as a pup; what a great dog!
Zoe – a senior citizen, spayed female cat that I took in because she is FIV positive and I had no cats at the time.
Bella - a young female spayed Westie that we took in as a stray; she is a "wild thing" but lots of fun!

I moved to this area in 1994 when my husband retired from the Army and went to work at Disney, and have been with this office since it opened in 2002.  I have been involved in the veterinary field for almost 20 years and just love it. I enjoy spending time with my family and pets.  Being a grandma is such fun!  I love to travel with my husband, especially on cruises and to NASCAR races and Boston Red Sox games! Working here has been a real joy and I look forward to continuing here under Dr. Robinson’s ownership.

I have been a vet tech for 26 years.  I worked as a tech at an emergency clinic for 13 years, at the St. Louis zoo for a year and in private practice for 12 years. I have worked at Clermont Animal Hospital South since it opened in 2002.

I recently raised a Bloodhound, “Nola” for 832 K9’s Deputy Dogs.  I  fostered her for 5 months, then returned her to begin training to become a police tracking dog.  My job was to socialize her so she came to work with me every day, and went just about everywhere else with me too. It was a great experience, and I am on my second bloodhound foster, "Dega.

I also raised a puppy for Canine Companions.  I had “Elway” for 15 months then he went to their kennel for advanced training.  Unfortunately he didn’t make it through the advanced training. I was able to adopt him and he was a certified therapy dog. We visited Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital, the National Deaf Academy and children’s reading programs at the library. We lost "Elway" in the summer of 2009 to an unfortunate incident and we miss him terribly. We have some wonderful memories of him and our experiences together.

I am very pleased to join the team at Clermont Animal Hospital South.  It is exciting to start a new chapter in my life in a place that combines the latest technology available with lots of love and real care for all our patients.
